Tree Series

Welcome to 'Lungs of Our Earth,' my Tree Series crafted with a purpose. Each tree sculpture is meticulously created using layered fused glass melted in the kiln, complemented by recycled wood stands sourced from 100-year-old cedar posts from our family heritage farm in Cherryville, BC.

The inspiration behind this series stems from the profound impact of global droughts and fires on our precious trees. Witnessing this loss deeply affected me, prompting a mission to raise awareness about the vital role trees play in sustaining life on Earth and promoting everyone's well-being.

Trees are the unsung heroes of our planet. They absorb carbon dioxide, replenish the oxygen we breathe, recycle water, prevent soil erosion, provide shelter, food, and reduce stress levels. It is our duty to care for and protect these essential life-givers.
